Vader makes a mistake.
Now that there is going to be a Veronica Mars movie (which is super amazing), there should DEFINITELY be a Heroes movie. That show had so much potential and the plug was pulled right when serious shit was going down.
So, started school this week! Already overwhelmed with all the future papers due and tests, not to mention the many pages I have to read. ARGH! I have a final paper that has to be at least ten pages. Not cool. Gonna apply for the School of Journalism and Mass Communication on Thursday. I hope I get in, but if not, then maybe Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature or American Studies.
Saw two episodes of BBC’s Sherlock and it was fantastic! I love Benedict Cumberbatch’s voice, and his Sherlock is funny as hell. Genius, that guy. Also saw Buffy the Vampire Slayer and it was pretty good. Nice to see a girl kicking ass once in a while. Reminds me of Veronica Mars, except Miss Mars was more of a detective and more snarky. I think I could watch shows forever if I could.
Hey hey hey! My name is Angie and I am from Minnesota, USA. I am twenty going on twenty-one. I go to the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. It’s alright I guess. What I really want to do is travel, specifically to California…and perhaps to Great Britain and Japan. Maybe someday.
Lately I’ve been watching TV shows online, just to see what’s out there. I saw the first season of Veronica Mars, and it is pretty entertaining. Veronica Mars is a high school girl with a private investigator dad. She helps him out with cases, while helping her classmates and solving the mystery of her best friend’s death. This show hooks you right from the start. Veronica Mars is definitely a good role model for girls, not like the famous reality show ladies.
Also, I have been watching Spaced (1999 - 2001) starring Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson which is about two twenty-somethings who got kicked out of their respective houses. They randomly meet, and find a flat together specifically for a professional couple. Of course, they pretend to be together and move in. They try to make something of themselves, while hanging out with their eclectic group of friends. The show is quirky with bizarre characters that make every episode interesting. Definitely watch it if you are a fan of Simon Pegg’s work.
Other shows I am planning on watching this summer are Quantum Leap, various Star Trek series, Xena: Warrior Princess, So Notorious (if available), Doctor Who, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Office (UK version), Supernatural, and Sherlock. Of course, I won’t be able to watch every single episode of all these TV shows, but I at least want to watch several episodes of each.
